This extra prize goes to Paula Simmons, one of the volunteers at the frequent spay/neuter clinics Unidos para los Animales organises in Guatemala. Paula was our "Cat Woman", taking care of the cats in recovery. Making sure they were breathing, applying eyedrops, keeping them out of trouble. She foster Spotty for a while and completely failed at it, as in ending up adopting her! Unfortunately Spotty passed away recently and way too soo, of cancer. Hardly any cat was more loved and spoiled than Spotty!
