Meet Juan! This is my friendly neighbour who greets me every day on our morning walk. Juan always wobbles over to say hi to my girls with his whirling little tail. Always such a nice encounter!

Every year around the holidays  I make a pet portrait to give to someone. This year I chose to make a portrait of Juan for his owner Letty who absolutely adores her dog. But as friendly as Juan is, he doesn't like his picture taken.! It took me dozens of attempts to get just a few decent ones. And then it was too hard to pick which one, so I made sort of a triple portrait. Happy holidays, Juan and Letty!
