Prices
The costs of my hand-painted portraits (artist’s gouache or acrylics on high quality watercolour paper) are the following:

Prices do not include tax (10% IVA) and shipping. The price is based on 1 figure (human or animal) against a background of choice Additional figure: Euro 40 / USD. 50. Size can be adapted to your preference. There’s a 10% discount on a second and following commissions. Extremely complicated or detailed background will have an additional cost.

Payment
After our initial contact about size, subject matter and background and after a 50% deposit of the final price, I'll start working on the final design. Deposits can be made through PayPal (carinsteen@yahoo.com) or a transfer to my European bank account (I'll provide bank details on request). 

I commit to finish the painting within the period we agreed upon, usually 1-2 weeks. Upon finishing the portrait, I'll send you a photo of the art work. If no changes are required, I'll carefully package the painting and ship it upon receiving the second and final payment.

Shipping
Price and matter of shipping depends on the size of the painting and country I'll be in while creating your artwork. Most likely that will be Spain, from where shipping with the national post service is affordable and reliable. 

A 10” x 10” envelope sent to the US /Canada costs about USD. 15 (certified with tracking number, takes about 5-12 days).
A PVC tube with a 30 x 40cm (11.81” x 15.75”) to the USA or Canada costs about USD35.
Prices for shipping within Europe are about half of those for sending out of the EU.
