When my friend Francesca rescued Bella off the streets of Antigua Guatemala, she was so young, her umbilical cord was still attached. Bottle-feeding such a small pup is not an easy task, but both Bella and her foster mom survived! Now Bella is about 5 months old and up for adoption. I know it will be heartbreaking for my friend to say goodbye. That's why I made her this painting, although it can never replace the real Bella. Rescuing and fostering is really hard!
